NEP is proud to make solar affordable and accessible to its customers through offering the best financial solution, Solar Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Solar PPAs are financial agreements between a provider and a customer to purchase ongoing solar power at long-term rates. Providers install and maintain solar facilities on customer rooftops and/or properties. The customer does not pay for the installation or equipment but merely pays for the electricity produced by the system.

	Maintenance
	NEP will conduct semiannual inspections to insure the solar electric systems output. The semiannual inspections will insure that all mechanical, electrical connections and components are performing per their specifications. These inspections include an annual meter calibration; with a certified report that the meter is functioning at its specified accuracy. In addition to the inspections, NEP will clean the panels regularly to ensure the most productive environment for the panels. NEP will maintain a live system status of all solar electrical systems via a web monitoring system that works around the clock (24/7). Any issues such as a decrease in production will result in the appropriate personnel being notified via text and email immediately, upon which a response will occur within 12-24 hours.
In addition to the web monitoring system, there can be a kiosk placed on the premises of the host. At the kiosk, viewers will be able to monitor the electricity being produced, the savings generated, and environmental benefits instantly.
